Our Story
What began with Sasso in the heart of Disley has grown into a collection of five distinctive venues across Manchester and Cheshire. From Sasso, we expanded to Cibo Wilmslow, followed by Cibo Hale, Gran Café Wilmslow and, most recently, Cibo Manchester on King Street. While each venue has its own personality, style and character, they all share the same passion for exceptional food, beautiful surroundings and genuine hospitality. Inspired by a love of Italian cuisine and the joy of bringing people together, every Cibo experience is built on the same commitment to quality, service and creating memorable moments that guests across Manchester and Cheshire have come to know and love.
Our Food
Every dish at Cibo begins with a passion for authentic Italian cooking. We regularly visit Italy to discover regional specialities, meet trusted suppliers and bring home the traditional recipes that have been passed down through generations. Using the finest ingredients sourced from both Italy and local producers, our chefs prepare every dish from scratch in our kitchens. From handmade pasta and fresh sauces to artisan gelato and desserts crafted by our talented Italian pastry chefs, every menu is thoughtfully created to capture the true flavours of Italy. It's our way of bringing a little piece of Italy to Manchester and Cheshire, one plate at a time.
Our Wine
Our passion for Italy extends far beyond the kitchen. We regularly travel to some of Italy's most renowned wine regions, working closely with producers to carefully curate a wine list that complements our menus and showcases the very best of Italian winemaking. Most recently, we visited the Masi winery in the Veneto region, where we explored new vintages, revisited some of our favourite wines and deepened our knowledge alongside the experts. These experiences allow our team to recommend wines with confidence, helping every guest discover something special, from well-loved classics to exclusive bottles you won't find just anywhere.
